I need a new pair of Spud shoes, and have tried a few on, but they all seem so narrow. Are there any that suit wide spread out feet like what I've got? 'Urban' style, discrete and simple, slightly more flexible sole, sort of thing you can wear with normal clothes, down the pub and that, without looking like a complete spod.
Any ideas?
Spesh Tahoe sound perfect.
Partner just bought some, comfy, wide and walkable.
The lower end Bontrager ones were really good too, but come up very small.
the fiveten minnar shoes are fairly wide and very comfy and dont look out of place either.
Shimano MT60? Goretex as well.Again come up about 1 euro size small.
I discovered Lake do a wide fit so thought I'd try a pair for the roadbike, first impressions are good - they feel nice from the off, roomy without feeling like clown shoes. I'm generally a 10 and went for a 45. Quite pleased as they were a good deal from Rutland Cycles.
Had Spesh, Shimano and Diadora... Spesh were okay, Shimano really uncomfortable and the Diadora's okay if you went wildly over size, I got a pair of 12's in the Chilli extreme and they're okay.
Look at wide fit from Shimano, the wide ones have an E on the end of desription.
Thanks for the replies, but shooduv said; no 'skate' style shoes. Can't stand things like that, I think they look proper ugly.
Tried some Mavic shoes, Alpines I think they were, but they felt a little narrow in the toe box. Are they meant to feel like they? I know footy boots are deliberately narrow, but not sure if SPD shoes need to fit that way.
Will have a look at Spesh, had a couple of pairs of their shoes, they fir a wider foot well ime.
Cannondale shoes are quite wide
They use to do a few pairs of trainer type SPDs
Yeah I had a pair, Uplink, but I left them behind when I moved out of a place a few years ago, and the useless (rude word) if a layndlord threw them out before I had chance to go and collect them. ๐ฅ
