Hi guys- go easy it's my first post. I am about to build my first bike. I haven't been riding long, I'm what u call a very late starter. Anyway I have most of my build ready to go but I'm Unsure about the drivetrain. I have sram xo shifters, and rear mech, x9 front mech. I'm looking at getting an xt crank and cassette running 3 x 9. Is this gonna work or am I gonna have issues with mixing shim and sram?.........
Any advice welcome..........
FYI the bike build is for xc / weekend warrior use with an extremely novice rider. I already have a wolf ridge 01.2 which puts up with any pants riding I throw at it, but I wanted something a bit special hence the custom build.

It'll be fine, you can use any cassette/chainrings with any manufacturer, as long as the are all the same number of speeds (9, 10 or even 11 now)
