Next year the plan is to start at 2 alpes and work south taking in any number of bike parks over a 3-4 week period.

Can any one comment on which are the good ones?

Montgenevre, les orres, pra loup, valloire, orchiere etc???

There needs to be a mix of trails, and a decent number of blues and greens (that are not just fire roads), ideally some dirt jumps and a nice camp site.

Thanks

Why you ask here? People only goto Verbier, Morzine, Les Arcs etc ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ok...From my experience.

Montgenevre. Yup.
Les orres not sure but there is something there
pra loup Yup check out Val'Dallos over the Col too
valloire YUP but the action is on the incredible singletrack all the way to bottom of valley. Lots of potential
orchiere not sure

Others:
Vars. Awesome! Defo. Big run all the way down to Embrun too.

Basically there is SHIT loads all over but the bike parks are just what are named...so many more trails. FCC VTT etc.

If you can shuttle there is HUGE descents and if you can shuttle and pedal you'll never leave. Its a paradise but shhhh (no one is listening anyhow)

Thank RHS

What I really need is stuff that starts from a chair lift as I will be with a 7 yr old who is pretty focused on the gravity side of things, lazy little bugger but pretty rad! Also unlikely to be shuttling unless we bump into someone down there.

Still a yup for all of the above??
