Yes okay I am a grumpy git, but what's the point in even mentioning the road or towpath pootling when reviewing a 3.5k cross bike.
And slick cross tyres are for dusty conditions?

Well you do know that cx bikes are the new fixie don't you.
I find I cry inside rather than the bike I'm riding.
