sounds like a decision has been made within the planet-head. His credit card will already be twitching. What do you reckon he's going to buy then?

I'm having a punt on yet another Santa Cruz Blur 4X

What do you reckon he'll have taken delivery of by the weekend then?

Might be easier if we had a list of what he has already owned, can the forum handle posts of that length though?

Has he owned a Nukeproof Mega? either that or he may go for a Canyon.

+1 for a rocket, preferably with a BOS shock, dibs when he sells it!

Might be easier if we had a list of what he has already owned,

Why? it's just as likely to be one he's already had as it is anything new.

Blur 4X?

Or if he is feeling flush the Blur TRC but then it wont feel right because it is carbon so he will have to wait for the TR and will buy another Enduro while he waits which he will profess to be much better because it is more mainstream.

I think to achieve the level of comfort that he seeks he should be looking at these..

Blur TRc with 650B wheels, 1x10 drivetrain and Bos suspension should be niche enough

Anything with a 190mm CCDB (please), so that I can have it when he sells it.

I'm going with a Lapiere but a Froggy!!!

Everyone knows a Zesty or a Spicy will be more than capable for any kind of riding he will do but in a knee jerk reaction to the lack of suspension on the 456 he will over compensate and go for a Froggy 😉

This will ultimately lead to him selling it in 2 weeks when he can not keep up with any one not even his kid on the balence bike, by which time he will have forgotten all the bad things about hardtales and get himself a 14" Identiti jump/4X bike.

It was already decided a month ago. Just another month to wait....

I have a mate who's selling a 2010 Lapierre 514 Zesty in mint condition. Let me know if you fancy a tickle...

Frames I'd consider owning?

Blur TRC
Stumpy EVO

Frames that I can afford? None of the above 🙁

What was wrong with the Enduro? Don't tell me - BB too high.

Don't get a Stumpy EVO. I have one and it's rubbish.

29er?

My money would be on a 14" 456, the 18" and 16" didn't work, it's the next logical progression. Scooters seem to be in fashion now too?

One of the new Metas?

Edit: That Cotic looks lovely, even though it's a bit weird and made of steel.

He's already bought a frame

Well given his last post was about frames he'd consider I thought the discussion was still on. To be honest, he said he decided before this thread was even up so it all seems a bit irrelevant.

Whats wrong with it? I thought it was suppose to be bang-tidy considering the Bikejaydar folk loved it- and their most recently musings over the carbon version!

So, what did he buy a month ago? Must be niche if there's a wait for it.

Hora - EVO is the bestest bike I've ever had and, although not as bad as you, I have owned a few. The bit about it being rubbish was a joke to put you off owning an awesome bike that you might have to keep for more than 5 minutes.
