Are you planning on buying anything in the sales with the good discounts?
I'm thinking of going 1x11 and want a new light but the prices haven't changed, understandably, so the sales aren't really attractive at the moment.

No, because I bought everything I wanted in the black friday sales and glad I did. Everything is more expensive in the Jan sales.
