He stripped it down & rebuilt it & I, as his proud dad think it looks pretty good. He's getting to grips with doing his own work on the bike so I reckon he's feeling very satisfied with this one!

Looks great, a really tidy job.
something growing on the wall.
snow!
Very nice indeed!
Looks amazing!
We've got the same washing machine.
Proper job! Has that colour got a name or a paint code in case someone wants a looky-likey. New build looks spot-on.
Very smart, looks a proper quality finish, shame about the cable ties for the reverb,
I've never had a bike sprayed "properly" the ones I've had done have been cheap 2nd hand bikes for commuting or knocking around on, done at my local powder coaters, but if you wanted a smart hard wearing solid colour you can't go far wrong for between £15 and £40 depending on stripping the old finish or how much he's messed around getting the job done around his other work.
We have the same washing up liquid
Looks good that!
why so grumpy looking?
Much better than it was!
Oooooh, looks good! 8)

Genetics 😉
Looks like a quality job... Assuming the finish is robust it looks good enough to me to confuse it with a pro job.. Maybe he could develop a sideline in striping and refinishing frames and other stuff?
Dibs. Do mine next 🙂
Good lad.
Lovely job he's made of that.

'Tangerine Scream' apparently. Someone he knows did it.
He was grumpy cos the BB was being a pain.

Chains too long, tyre logo/ valve alignment on front wheel, and excess cable on rear mech needs cutting off
Snow, snow are you in Lapland or something?
Looks very good - hope it wasn't standard car paint as it won't be very hard wearing.
Who is that chiseled cheekboned greek god, holding aloft his mighty orange!
as he battles with the elements. Be still my beating heart.

Yeah, whatever. 😛
That is an outstanding effort, the frame looks fantastic.
I've got the same washing up liquid, work stand, but not washing machine
Like especially that colour. 🙂
Looks lovely that. Makes me want to do mine.
Looks nice.
Did he do the painting or just the dismantling/re-mantling?
Did he do the painting or just the dismantling/re-mantling?
He just did the dismantling & re-mantling. If he could paint like that he'd be in business!
One of the best I've seen.
Did he follow any guide? I'm quite interested to have a go myself.
Lordy, so many posts and no-one is mentioning sticking the frame (with it's new paint) in the stand like that!
Get a post and clamp in first next time pretty please.
(possibly just my OCD but why risk it!!)
I'm liking that a lot!
We have the same bricks but not the same washing machine.
reminds me of that yellow specialized enduro that alex took to chalet that time.
also in the snow.
To do a neater job with the Reverb hose, firstly get some yellow zip ties. then get some hose (camelback hose works well if you have an old moldy one), cut 5mm sections out of it, and thread the zip tie through it, round the reverb hose, back through the camelback hose, and round the frame, Holds it just off the frame and prevents rub.
Or if you're in a hurry, just put a zip tie round the zip tie between hose and frame to do the same job.
Lovely job . I've got the same hoodie from American Apparel but my socket set is not as good.
Great job! I have the same workstand.........wouldn't clamp my newly painted frame in it without some innertube so in between thought.
Looks like I've got the same washing machine...
And lovely job on the bike.
Big improvement over the original.
Same bikestand, check.
Same WU liquid, check.
How time flies, last time I saw Mark he was hopping about the petrol station forecourt doing endo's ...
Oh, and yes, nice frame!
