My experience of plus tyres is that they're not great in mud because they 'float'. So who's this aimed at?

Thing is they'd probably sell a fair few if they made them. Market testing w/o commitment stroke of genius?

Could work, I had some 2.5" Swampthings which (though slow rolling in supertacky dual ply flavour) worked in pretty much all winter conditions - slippy roots and rocks were fine with the volume and they bit well in mud too. They looked pretty similar to the pic!

Can see that a plus size tyre like that could work, despite the perceived need to "cut through" the mud.

True. If a little worrying!

You do know how boats work, don't you? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Depends on how overloaded the 'boat' is, my Plimsole line regularly disappears in the mud even running 2.4's

I can think of a few rides where that would be a great tyre.
