Here's a final attempt to see if anyone might be up for joining me for a ride up/down Snowdon on either of the above dates? Weather permitting of course, 7th is preferred as thats my 30th birthday!
My wife has decided not to attempt it after all but will be meeting me at the bottom of the Rangers path, so it'll be one big climb followed by a big descent! We can shuttle someone back to Llanberis if needs be also.

Don't wont to put a dampener on your big day, but I'm sure there's a voluntary ban between May-October for riding up & down Snowdon.
There is indeed a ban. No bikes on the mountain between 10.00am and 5.00pm.
very tempting, i love snowdon! bit of a tek from notts though cos i only get back saturday night. hmmm....
You can push your bike up during those hours and no one seems to mind but dont come back down til after 5 and prepare to have a few punctures!! And its bloody cold at the top regardless of the weather!! Done it a couple of times and its a good sense of achievement but ultimately its an out and back ride with a hell of a push up! And depending on the amount of walkers up there it could be a big sacrifice low pay-off kinda thing!!
Did it last Monday evening on my own, just up and down the Llanberis path. Really enjoyed it and if you set off up after 5pm there are far fewer people walking. A surprising amount of up is ridable but the really steppy bits require pushing. I was on top by 7:05 pm! Some people say the Llanberis route down is dull, I but I enjoyed it.
I'd really like to do the Rangers plus Telegraph Road route now. But can't do those dates though. Sorry.
llanberis looks far from dull though ive only ridden up it. im hooked on rangers though...
Well aware of the ban thanks. I like the way people always assume no one else knows about the ban! It'll hopefully play in my favour anyway as there'll fewer people in the way, i hope.
Punctures shouldn't be a problem as i have UST wheels.
I reckon i can crack the climb in less than 2 hours....can't wait to do the Rangers path knowing i don't have to climb back on Telegraph Road.
Did Snowdon Ranger descent last month - opted for a very early start via Llanberis Path. Was the only man on the summit at 8am. Awesome day.

nice photo ianb, those rock garden sections on the top part are wicked arent they? ive always been pretty jammy wth them but seen some good crashes!
That looks great....just what i'm looking forward to riding. Going to have to back off abit if on my own though! Although my wife will be waiting for me the bottom if it does go pear shaped 😯
A load of us were up there thurs as part of a welsh coast to coast. Amazing views from the top.

I was in the same boat. It's not so bad - the unrideable sections were so very unrideable it was easy to judge when to get off. Full ride report and more pics if you need some more inspiration here:
