Ripping down the DH section of Innerleithen the other night and a rock with attitude ripped a hole in my sidewall spewing Stans all over the place. Rode on it the next day with a tube in and a patch on the hole so try stop it ripping further and it held up to a mincing down GT.

Whats the verdict? will it hold until I've worn the tyre out or could it rip open at any moment letting the tube out in a comedy sort of way?

Hole is about 3 - 4mm long

get in touch with just riding along and get a tubeless repair kit.

works really well, it's what i've done on a swampthing and a highroller.

mine are as good as new now.

are you doing the Rivvy run on Sunday?

Hi Vortex, I should be at Rivi but after lots of miles in Scotland yesterday and the day before my legs are still a bit tired...

Repair it. Sew with dental floss (its stronger than thread)

I think it was £2.50 what with the credit crunch and everything 🙂

We did not agree a price actually DOH I think they were listed at £17.50 posted (can double check via your profile if you want so say £15 collected OK?
