How the hell does that happen on a fire road????
By all accounts he 'Hit a tree'???
How do you hit a tree on a fire road?
Give a proper bike to a roady and wait for the results.
LOL at juan
Juan - Surely you mean 'triathlete' rather than 'roadie'? Everyone knows that those folk can't go around a corner without crashing. ๐
That is no fire road chaps.
That will be in South Africa during the Cape Epic.
Conditions will be loose gravel over HARDpack.
Try and pull your brakes and you just skid!
Rode in that same area earlier this year.
Dry, dusty, fast. Mmmmmmmm
As it's a race (?) are the other two just stopping to take the Pi$$?
Thats what happens when you don't roll with 32 spokes and a Super Tacky High Roller up front ๐
They do about 80-100 km a day so stopping(quickly) to take the piss is ok
Watch the stage videos and see what I mean about fast and dry :

There is a Kevin Evans in the top 4 teams!
The vid of stage 4 is good
This is making me rather homesick...
there's still two wheels on that wagon.
Yeah I was wondering why he had 3 wheels, I guess the motorbike in the background might have just delivered a replacement
Guillianno - Even the fireroad on the Skyline is tough...remember 8inch of travel or you die!!!!
