A day ago SLX's were £55 each end on wiggle. No such bargain now though.

they were £110 a pair, bled, from wiggle (with the 20% off offer), but now the updated shimano prices mean a set will cost you £180! wish id bought them when i had the chance :0(

I just got f & r, bled, without rotors, for just under £50 an end from wiggle. They were £55 normally but if you buy each end separately rather than together you can use 2 of the £5 off over £50 codes. Just have to register on the site and follow some instructions to get the codes emailed.

Update - just checked so I could add a link to this post and they are now up to £78 for the front end, and can't find the rear. Lucky me I suppose but not so lucky you I'm afraid. Tried Merlin?

Guessing you probably don't want to be told about how cheap they were at wiggle any more do you?

They are £150 F&R posted on ebay from Merlin. Doesn't say if they are made up or not but I suspect they are.

The pair I got from Merlin came assembled with a spare olive etc for when you need to shorten them.

Mine weren't - and they were an absolute pig to bleed (much harder than LX for instance)

Great brakes when setup properly though. No drag and very controllable.

The price at CRC is still good, cheaper than Merlin. CRC are £140 for F&R whereas Merlin is £150. Plus, at CRC if you want you can choose a bigger rotor for the front - at a slight price increase of course. I bought some at Wiggle, but the price was excluding rotors and adaptors.

Bled or not it's probably a good idea to buy some now if you think you will need them in the next year or so.

The rear is on wiggle but now also £78.25, to find it you need to search for "rear slx"

£55 without discs and adaptors, mind.

Got mine from wiggle last week and they came with 160 adapters
