I'm looking for some high volume slick tyres for commuting on my 29er.
Can I buy any tyre marked as 700c or 28" as well as 29er ones?
It seems especially odd that a 28" tyre would fit a 29er wheel, but there may be a difference in how they're measured, rim diameter vs. tyre outer diameter.

Supermotos if you want massive, I really like my 35c kojaks though- they're not so much slick 29er tyres as really big road tyres, still light and fast. They look a bit odd in a mountain bike mind
