I'm quite fancying some riding on Skye this year (having walked their but never ridden). Last year 2 friends and I did a 3-day Cairngorm trip (Blair Atholl-Loch Morlich - Braemar (via Tomintoul) - Blair Atholl [120 miles]) staying in youth hostels and travelling light. We are keen to do something of a similar 'scale' this year - and so I am wondering about doing this on Skye.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a 2-3 day multiday route on Skye?
We prefer a route going A-B-C-D with a major 'commitment' and no easy bail out options rather than going back to the same place each night. We'll be travelling light so need to get to a hostel/bunkhouse/b&b each night though - as we won't be lugging tents/sleeping bags.
