Can anyone recommend an MTB skills course not too far from Bristol? For a couple of XC mincers intermediate sort of level. Somewhere nice so we can make a weekend of it would be nice. Thanks

www.forestfreeride.co.uk

Around 2.5 hours from Bristol, free bunkhouse and a more secluded / tranquil location you couldn't wish for and there's no extra charge for one to one (two in your case) tuition.

Thanks for the replies. Forest Freeride are only doing women only courses on the dates I can do and mountainbikeskillscourses don't seem to have any courses in August. Shall try Cwmride, any more out there?

If you're prepared to travel a bit further afield, then give Tony a call at UK Bike skills. I've been coached by him at Woburn Sands in Bedfordshire. I can't recommend him enough really. He's done wonders for my riding over the last year. I think he travels around as well, I remember he was doing a course at one of the Welsh trail centres a while back, Think it was Landegla (spelling). Top dude, super patient and unlike some of the coaches out there, he really does have the ability to back up what he's telling you.
