Ok ..depends on the rider I know but are they perfectly capable of devouring lumpy rocky terrain in reasonable comfort ( sus fork up front of course )

they'll handle it same as any hardtail would and they're not particularly flimsy tubes but equally it's not a freeride frame and no hardtail will be comfortable on really rocky terrain.
