Is there any?
Google Maps shows the forest in the area to be a little Thetford-esque - conifers, heathland and plenty of ferns.

As far as I'm aware there's a little bit in the New Forest and some on the Isle of Wight. I've not done any of it.
There are lots of MTB loops posted up in this area on gpsies.com.
