Ok so I will be new to the SS brigade and I can normally get around Llandegla & Marin in the middle ring, well my geared bike is a double so I tend to keep it in the outer ring anyway. Not ridden much of late so unfit and I have put on weight mainly in the midrift so what would be a good starting point for my rear cog & front chainring I intend to use a bashguard so my jeans don't get covered in lube when going down the pub.
