Don't know if they do it on the iPhone but they do for Android devices, I just can't put it down at the moment. It's Alchemy. 330 different things made by combining the four classical elements.
Dunno if it's the same thing, but I've been playing Air Traffic or some such on Android recently. It's quite compelling.
130 planes (the first/default strip)...I watched a video on youTube of somebody who is much better but it gave me a few pointers.

+1 Trainyard - aesthetically as dull as it gets, but really gets your grey cells working
+1 Cut the Rope - really does your head in (in a good way)
Dark Nebula 2 - sci-fi flavoured take on labyrinth
Fragger - funky and addictive
Tumbledrop - looks kinda girly but certainly worth investigating
Air Attack - very solid incarnation of the good old top-down scroller/shoot-em up
-1 Doodlejump - I really don't know what people see in this
Can't get more than 75 planes down on the easy level airport.
That youtube video makes it look v easy.....

doodle truck has just made an appearance....can't see it having longevity but those parcels do bounce around on the bumps!
