anyone know what length extra deep socket is needed for SID service ! ? !
super long reach into the stanchion to reach the bolt that my mid depth sockets can't reach 🙁

Jist a standard deep reach socket - mines about 50mm certainly no special order Was in my cheapy set

My 50mm deep socket still wasn't deep enough for my sids: look for a 10mm 'tube' (i think its called a box spanner or something). I bought [url= http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BOX-SPANNER-10mm-12mm-/390306480641?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item5ae0144201 ]something like this[/url] for mine.

Error...re-read that and I was thinking for the removal of the 10mm nut at bottom of lowers were the QR dropout gets in the way on my Rebas
