I'm off on a long weekend staying at Aston Munslow, and was thinking of taking my bike. Has anyone got any recommended routes nearby? Also heard there was some good downhilling in the area?
I'll have a car so will be able to drive places, but wont be allowed to go for the whole day as its a family thing!

I think your right by Wenlock Edge, not ridden there but there are trails there and Cleobury Mortimer. Your pretty close to Church Stretton / Long Mynd, I would head there, more trails than you can do in a weekend, easy (map/GPS based) navigation, lots on T'Interweb - STW did a route guide not long ago. You could probably do a great big route route to Long Mynd out over Wenlock & Hope Bowdler from where you're staying, just say you got lost.
If you're after downhill, I guess it has to be Bringewood near Ludlow
Or relax and enjoy the countryside in spring, and ride along Wenlock Edge
