Preferably uncompressed, they all look rubbish on youtube.

Do any of them actualy take footage you could show on a normal TV?

Don't want to spend a fortune, just enough to show off my mad, rad, and dangerous to know SKILLZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

My magura's are buttery smooth, so will probably mount it on the DT, away from low flying branches.

there's a few of my vids in here, recorded using a ATC 2K camera. It's not good with contrast and i can't get a still image, but all that does is make you consider your shots a bit more.

Let me know what you think of my vids!!!

(fyi we are not attempting to please people with our movies by adding music/smooth cut scenes, more of a memory/look this is the trail for our friends)

thisisnotaspoon, this is from an ATC2000 with, I realised after the event, a wobbly mount. Sound/mic quality is always rubbish hence people sticking music on.

ATC2000 are an old model, can be found for £70ish. The newer ATC5000 has the advantage of a view screen on it- with the 2K you had to ride, stick the memory card in your 'puter to see how it looked, adjust, ride and repeat.

This is my kid brother on a motorbike trackday at cadwell, gives an idea of the resolution and clarity of a 2K with a steady mount (he used the handlebar mount to fit it to an indicator stalk).

Heard a lot of good things about the "dogcam" but not tried it.

Regardless of how good your forks are in my experience bar mount footage is hard work to watch due to the up-and-down movement. Having on a helmet isolates it. You get both with the ATC cameras but Ive given up on my bar mount.

If you're a member you can download what I uploaded down the bottom right of the page.

OK footage, I've certainly watched it on the telly with mates and it's been fine. E.g. after our qualifying at the mega last year we all sat and watched thru the vid of my run with a few beers, chatting about what lines we'd all taken where, and all the stuff that happened to each of us etc.
