New frame day incoming and I'm picking out the parts to finish it off. I'm getting a stainless Starling Roost with a black Helm fork and thinking about what colours to put with it. Current idea is that I'll go black for almost everything (stem, bar, cranks, pedals, seat clamp, headset, brakes, saddle, grips) and then silver hubs and spokes with rainbow nipples and tan wall tyres for just a splash of colour.
I know it's a gravel bike but I think this is a really smart look.
I want to see some inspiration though, show me your raw bike please!
Both raw (titanium and alloy). The raw & black with tan walls is a good combo imo. I'm biased, of course 😁

Sounds like a good approach keeping it simple with black bits and small colour highlights. Hated the orange chainring I had on my commuter for a while, but it was £10 vs £40 for the black one so I made do.
Raw with a focus on monochrome: silver hubs/spokes, destickered rims, stealth fork/shock decals. Recently smartened up the frame after 2 years riding, using a scouring pad:

My old Banshee Sptifire, in hindsight, I wish I'd have left it with all black components as it looked better.

Different strokes, different folks. Having done the bling thing in the past I'm now very much liking black/silver at the moment. Silver hubs and spokes make a nice change after years of black one.

For sure, I'm pretty set on silver Pro5 hubs, silver spokes, taking the stickers off the DT rims and then rainbow nipples being the only colour on the bike.
It's funny because my starting point was going to be bright purple formula or bright pink cane creek forks and colours elsewhere too and I've slowly rowed back on all of it. The rainbow nipples are staying though 😂

2022 proto Five Evo. Was bare/polished but since I've owned it, it's become more bare/patina! Black and raw works... Don't think there's any other colour on it.

I had the chance for a 953 Starling Murmur and missed out by dithering!
One of our group had one of these for a while and it looked brilliant. Their stock photos don't do it justice.

Raw with black for my Titus Loco Moto. Shame about the yellow Maxxis logos. 
Blue is inoffensive and can look classy, sorry to those above but not red or purple, red lyriks and red coil look good but anodised red is a no no for me with raw, it's good with painted frames though, especially black or dark grey just not raw. But each to their own.
The best colour for a bike 🙂 I like it best with all black parts, though brass/copper can look cool on raw too. One day I'll swap my frame out for something raw, would love a Banshee Paradox.

Yeah I'm not that keen on the red bits on my raw bike on the previous page, they carried over from the last bike which had a black and red frame.
Gonna be moving to blue or black bits when the chainring dies.
Raw Ti and Carbon, tiny bit of (accidental) orange in the headset spacers as they’re all I had. It I think the most important similarity to what you are doing is silver spokes.

I love the titanium colours and some of the aluminiums, but some of the latter look a bit light/white for me.
