What kind of spec are you going to be running?

Swapping everything over from my blue pig, slx groupset, rs sektor forks and superstar switch wheels. Functional ๐Ÿ˜€

Agree that Fives can look quite good with the right build - needs to be 16,17 or 18 inch and have a single chainring to look good.

The green chain device is black these days...

A mountain bike should be a reliable, solid friend that's built to last and just works with minimal maintanence. No fancy gimmicks to justify the marketing bulls+#. That's why I love orange bikes.

Who cares what a bike looks like or if it's got the latest fad technology. They're for RIDING, not poncing around trail centres.

The ones with a straight top tube are the nicest.

A Five with a really ugly brace welded in to the swing arm. Still love it though!

Hi,
New to mountain bikes and to the forum.
I am just entering into the creaky knees phase of my life and decided to get a bike again my last being a bmx in the 80s, Here's mine,
[img] [/img]
I have wheels, tyres, tubes, fork, stem, bars and new headset already.
I hope to get a complete slx groupset and a seat post in the next few weeks before I start to build it.
Was going to send it off to orange for a refinish but I know if I did I would be too worried about scratching it to ride it as it should be.
