As above, Have grumbly bearing in my 2015 Trance. Show me what you use please.
Only two of them need to be changed and I am loathed to pay for a full kit and labour from the not so helpful (Giant dealing) LBS.
on my 2012, I used a small G clamp for the main bearings
and ahammer/drift to tap them out
easy
I used a slide hammer puller to remove the bearings (loads of them on eBay, think the smallest puller needed is 6mm). Then sockets/bolt to press them in, have since bought a couple of sets of RRP bearing kits and are very nice to use.
Edit: looking at the kits on eBay the smallest might be 8mm.
I did consider that but if there is a correct tool for the job then I think I would like to have it.
There are proper maestro bearing kits, think they might have stopped making them though. Try ebay
They still make it, and it can be delivered to your local giant dealer.
