It's been suggested that it might be an ideA. I'm gonna be using dt 4.2 rims and conti vert pros. Any downsides? What sealant?

I used Wheel Milk from Just Riding Along seems to have worked just fine. 3 weeks and counting....

I used new Maxxis Minion/Crossmark on DT E540 rims and had no probs at all.

If you're a habitual tyre swapper then tubeless isn't great. I will change the rear in the Autunm i imagine.

They sealed/seated with just a track pump and have great so far. I really only did for stop thorn punctures as i was getting them almost every ride!!

No weight gain in my case as i the Maxxis were heavier than the Kenda they replaced. If i had kept to Kenda then there would have a very small weight decrease.

I now the tyres at around 30-35 psi, loads of grip and no chance of pinch flats either.

Continental are supposed to be fine for ghetto.
