10:00 – 10:10 meet outside Cookson’s Bicycle Temple in Whitefield.
Head off up towards Affetside and maybe on to Hoddleston if time allows, so 20 or 30 miles.
Pace - As fast as I can go, so mediumish.
Hills – Some.
Cake – No time for that.

Carrot cake was great during the war when there was rationing.
Cake should be made of cake ingredients, not vegetables.
Carrots should be in Shepherds pie, not in sweet things.
Busy in the mornings and would have brought cake so you double loose [ well you win as i am not there so a score draw]
