Admiralable - a man after my own heart, cake and tea, for standing back from the build and admiring at set intervals while stroking beard and muttering softly.

Good to see you're not using gears: that saves you ferrules, cable end crimps, cable inners and outers and a cutter.

Assuming Hydro brakes - olives and inserts to shorten the cables and a usable way of bleeding brakes afterwards (inc fluid / oil).

Copper grease? Skewers?

May want to put some other info like stem length, bar width, wheel spec, fork choice.... May get some helpful hints for the build since it looks like you're going for the aggro long travel slack hardtail approach and that, given your initial post, you're not certain what you're doing.

haven't got anythimg else yet these are my starting point will be adding month by month as funds dictate. For now I was planning on using the wheels off my spesh with a single speed conversion kit on them, and the fork also, a rock shox dart 2.

I'd just use a shimano BB and a £20 FSA/Cane Creek headset as they work just as well as the hope stuff and are much cheaper. Then you can buy some forks that arent useless.

Dont forget to check the classifieds on here.

One lads unwanted stuff might suit your project, save you pennies for the beer and cake at the end of the day.

Maybe change of tyres for summer and winter ?

Some funds for a pair of 5.10's
