Just joined the FS market with a 2ndhand Yeti ASR. Just back from the first spin (heavy rain, night ride) with a smile. Have set the shock simply with air pressure recommended from previous owner (165psi).
Am interested in
- how ProPedal works, and how/when/where best used
- advice on tuning the shock to suit me
- does the 25% sag principle apply

Propedal is a low speed compression circuit which is there to cut out any pedal induced bob, it will also affect damping on rollers and any other low speed suspension movement.
Set the sag first 25% to 30% is probably best for the asr, then rebound try 3 or 4 clicks off full slow to start with.
Set the propedal on 2 and see how you get on with that for starters try on for up and along and off for down, but there re no hard and fast rules it's whatever works for you.
If the shock came with the frame originally it's probably set for the suspesnion design so should be ok.
