[#4735247]

Just received my shiny new bushing press from eBay with a set of new bushing for my Fox rp23 rear shock.
Read conflicting views on lubing up the inside face when installing. I didn't think you were meant to due to them having the self lubricating inner coating (red/orange.

Any recommendations?

Andy

The polymer bushes are self lubricating as are the standard fox du bushes and the new fox 'low friction' ones.
Don't lube them as they don't need it and it just attracts dirt as well.

Given the rapidity with which those on my pals' bikes wear out (I've a hardtail) I'd be finding a way to fit a grease nipple and keeping 'em well greased.
