That's amazing for the money!
Good effort that!
sold the carerra nd associated parts for £180 to so cash neutral 🙂
Should do the job, sort your bars out and enjoy 🙂
sort the bars??
I`m after 1 of those for a winter bike, might do the Cyle to work sceme!
Yep.... Sort the bars.
in what way - sort the bars?
Ignore them Rob. The bike looks great for that amount of outlay and I'm sure you'll be riding so hard you'll not be able to hear the s****s.
Bar / lever positioning, have a look at the hood angle on most road bike setups. 😉
Sound as a pound.
Stem will break :fact:
ouch your back will hurt with those bars like that!
so should the top of the bars be flat (thought they were but changed stem)
That is deffo £180 well spent. But tuck that mudguard in a bit tighter at the back would you? Cheers!
Whenever I see a Ribble, I always want to get the tippex out and give it a D before the R..
the previous owner sorted the mudguards
Looks good, especially for good for the price! With regards to the bars, I'd just rotate them down a bit, but if its comfy, leave it where it is.
Nice
Anyone else wanting to do similar I have some cheap ritchey road bars and tiagra cranks for sale (cranks have one stuck bolt that I had to hacksaw off so need some extraction easy out type tool on them but the rings are new max of 30 miles on them)
think they are sorted now, will give it a go to the shops tomorrow
How about some nice bright tape next time?
why? it would look shite
