Hiya all

A mate of mine is coming over from Oz in July for the Tour, bringing his bike, but he's flying into London, leaving his bike, jetting off to Corfu and then straight to the Pyranees (with his bike still in London). I know that the easiest thing would be for him to fly back to London, collect the bike and then head off to the Pyranees, but he wants to go straight there. What would be anyones recommendations for getting the bike to Argeles Gazost ? Are we looking at Royal Mail or DHL, or am I missing another good option ?

Anyone planning on heading to the Pyranees in July with space for one more bike ???

Thanks all
Sean

Instead of all those shipping charges it might be easier/cheaper to buy a 2nd hand bike in the pyrenees (or rent one)

You should be able to send bikes to France by train, they put it on a eurostar and some point the next day it turns up at the French train station of your choice. I think you have to get it to the parcel depot at st pancras, probably some info on the net somewhere.
