Hi, how much would yo expect to pay for shipping to get a bike from the states to the UK. My mates been told it'll be $400 which I think is a bit steep.

depends on value of bike (i take it you want to insure it to cover your ass) and you will have to pay the dreaded import duty etc if customs get hold, allow approw 20% in all on top of price you paid to cover this.
