I need two. They don't work well as brake pads. Changed a set at BPW in the cold and wet and clearly failed to open up the split pin enough. It fell out as did one of the pads. I was distracted to be fair by having just put a hole in a brand new tyre at the time. Good job it was the last run 😉

Awesome day tho. Be more awesome if I don't need to buy a £60 caliper or £80 brake to fix it.

No spare parts, just spare caliper assemblies

Hmm thought that might be the case. Might as well buy a new brake from CRC as they are only 20 quid more than a caliper. And see if I can buy some of the bolts that come with XT. I think that's my last split pin experience!

Ta for the info.

The zee calipers are already threaded to take the cotter pin / threaded pad retainer bolt. They used to be about £5 on wiggle
