i'm in need of a new derailleur, my old xtr 970 return spring doesn't return... its had a good life, but time for a new one.
sticking with 9 speed, is there any reason not to get the m772 xt one? running as a 1*9. so going for a medium cage. seems reasonable at £35.....

No reason at all not to buy one, I had one for 5 years, gave it to a mate a few months ago and it's still going strong.

Mine's 2 and a half years old and still going strong. Definitely the best 9 speed bang for your buck.
