I have an XT chainset with M760 on the cranks - are all XT chainrings compatable with them? It looks as if I am as well off buying an entire crankset as separate BB & rings - is there a better way? Do any 4 bolt rings fit?.....This is turning out to be harder (and more expensive) than I thought it would be.
Does anywhere do a better combined price on rings (chains) & cassette?

Any 4 bolt rings will fit. If you go for the (much cheaper) Deore ones they also last much longer because they're steel not alloy. Make sure you get a Deore M532 granny ring, though- they're the only ones with room for an external BB.
