Just put new pads in the shimano xt brakes for a trip to Wales tomorrow.
Pulled the lever brakes went on but now the lever returns but the piston in the lever stays stuck in place, any ideas?

We have had 5 sets do this. All replaced under warranty. The master cylinder stops retracting, don't think it is fixable.

There is a lot of this about. There is another thread about an slx pair that sounds like they have gone the same way. The lever only pushes on the master cylinder, you can't pull on it. When they get mucky they stick and stop returning
