Looking to sell my 9 speed xtr rear mech and upgrade my drivetrain to 10speed. The new shadow+ mechs look great but can't decide on SLX or XT. Anyone have any experience? Looking to go 3x10...

not a great deal of difference between slx and xt these days. I think it is just a weight thing in the mech - the shifters have a few less features (no multishift in slx).
shadow+ is worth getting over shadow, as it really reduces chain slap/noise and can stop you losing your chain altogether.

SLX still has the bushing jockeys I think, XT gets proper bearings. Some folks reckon there's a difference in the clutch mechanism, haven't looked myself.
