Hi, I am a size 9 with slightly wider feet than average. What size Shimano MW81 should I order? I have read they come up small and to get a size bigger?
44 is a 9 (?)
so should I go for a 45 (9.5) or 46 (10/4)
It would be good to have room for a thickish pair of socks.. Unless there is somewhere nr Brighton to try them on of course..

Go up a size, my old MW02 were a very snug and they were the size I'd normal buy, I went for the next size up when I got my MW80s, better for winter riding as they don't cut off the circulation with thick socks.

I went from a normal 43 to a 45 for mw 81s. I have very wide feet tho
I have 3 different pairs of Shimano shoes. The first are touring shoes and 44s. Pretty snug, but nicely so. My MTB shoes are 44 too but actually have a fair bit of room. Based on advice I'd read I went for size 45 MW81s and I have a fair bit of room in them too.
I usually wear Woolie Boolie socks, so they're pretty thick.
I don't have the widest of feet in the world though.
