I'm looking to buy a set of Deore M596 disc brakes, 180mm front, 160mm back, both post mount. However I can't find any information anywhere how you adjust them for larger size rotors. Do I need a special adapter for the front?

Also anyone know of any cheap sources at the moment? Rose only have the rears in stock.

Most LBS will have the adaptors in stock, Shimano product code SM-MA. Cycle Surgery charged me £7.99, which I think is about average.

Parker international http://www.parker-international.co.uk/c/158/MTB-Disc-Brake-Spares.html £5.30 for your brake adapter. Hope this helps! Merlin might do some discount special this weekend if so you might pick your brakes up cheaper from them so keep an eye on there site.
