To move my Formula brake with 180mm rotor from this fork

As you can see the top mount on the Silver(pikes)sticks out a lot further than the one one the black(revelations)

Looks like IS to IS so why do you need an adaptor? Fair enough the caliper will sit lower down but I don't see why you need an adptor?

I think you should be ok, Looks like the caliper will sit lower and at more of an angle.
Try it and see?
