If its boxed yes if its OEM then probably not 🙂

It didn't come with either my SLX or my 105 chainset and they were genuine boxed stock from Madison.

Didn't come with my boxed XT crank last year and that came straight from Madison (along with the rest of a free XT groupset, feel short changed now 😆 ).

ah-ha.
My boxed one didn't come with one, so i use a knife and wedge it in. How tight should it be done up?
