So I have XT shifters and XT shadow GS (medium) rear mech with a SLX 11/34 cassette.
That's the set up and the problem/issue is
Depending on where on the cassette if I do one click on the large lever the mech will not move so another click is required.
It's like it's only doing half a shift
The shifters a we're new 7ish months ago and the mech was second hand.
Please dont say Sram coz there worse IMHO
Anyone had similar problem?

Click the gears into the smallest sprocket and then click up one gear. If it doesn't shift, wind the cable adjustment out until it clicks up. If it clicks up straight away, keep shifting up till it doesn't, then wind the adjuster out till it does shift. That should work.
