so how many other idiots out there thought they'd enter thinking it would be easy in the sport class?
now i've seen the course, 4 laps!!!
i must be MAD!!
you should lay a few traps for the unsuspecting riders (in a Dick Dastardley stylee), a few drainage ditches on the outsides of bends should do it! ๐
theres drainage ditches on the outside of bends anyway...
YEAH! somebody beat me to it
know a few good short cuts though ๐
wysiwyg - that was my point mate
5 or 6 laps in Expert for me, they don't seem to have decided yet!
just read my opening post, should read open class
It's a quite short lap though FWIW, they're aiming under 20mins for Elite.
Yes I think I'd prefer more short laps. I imagine it's 7 for you Elite folk, 6 for Expert, 5 for Sport, 4 for Open, but we shall see! Then again that Gorrick Sunday was just too short IMO.
they're aiming under 20mins for Elite.
could get busy in the tight bits, especially with the numbers out
now just checked forecast, wet and windy for tomorrow ๐
this is gona be my first race...any tips guys?
do loads of training!!
oops, bit late for that now.
seriously though, just ride at a pace you'll feel comfortable with and aim to finish.
well, thats what i do anyway

just got back from practice, the course is really interesting. i think mr hampshire has done a good job designing it.
used lots of tracks that we use on a regular basis in our midweek rides,................................................................... (so no unfair advantage there then.)
course really dry and bloody fast out of the techy singletrack.
roll on tomorrow......... ๐
rode most of the course today, it took a few interesting turns and was very fast, conditions look to be about perfect, hope you 'ave a gud un' Adey ๐
cheers pal.
fingers crossed eh!
good luck to everybody ๐
i will need it! just about to set off for a tanking in sport..........
