They both look identical except the badges, at a push i'd say the deore looks better, only difference is ~20g weight saving on the slx.
Am i being obtuse or is that the only difference?

I bought SLX and XT mechs that I used over the summer ,The SLX worked as good as XT, till the jockey wheels that are made of cheese failed.
I put on a set of XT sealed wheels and it's been fine since.

I was really impressed with my 4 month old SLX shadow rear mech until I turned the mmmBop upside down earlier today and discovered that the inside plate had snapped by the the lower jockey wheel...
