Just asking is there any thing special about setting up 10 speed XT, I'm running 1 x 10 so no front mech 😀 and a 36-11 cassette with a mid cage mech.Cassette arrives tomorrow 🙂

Not much different to 9sp, Shadow mech's benefit from correct B-tension more than older types, and indexing's easier if you start off with a slight amount of slack in the cable rather than pulling it tight as you would with a 9sp.

Thanks coatesy , I've fitted shifter and rear mech and new cables just need my cassette then I can get set up.
