How do you set yours up for indoor work.? Are there any setting within the 800 specifically for this.?

as long as you have the cadence speed sensor it'll ask you if you want to run it with gps off when it can't get a fix.

What he said. Or if it tries to get a GPS fix and almost manages then you can go into the menu and turn the GPS off.

menu > gps status > off
should turn the GPS off, then speed sensor overrules it.
i've got a 500 i assume the 800 is similar?
