[Closed] Sending a frame back to USA for modification - any smart ideas apart from DHL ?

DHL / Parcelfarce looks like costing £180 each way insured. Unfortunately I can't think of any one I know going over on hols / business to take it for me, which would have been the ideal solution.

Any other smart ideas (needs to be safe and secure)?

DHL have closed down in the USA. Try Fedex.

I sent mine for 60 on the basic parcle force as the insurence was only £50 less than the crash replacement price I had!

You can still use DHL to send it.

Parcelforce is cheaper though.

Thanks everyone. I know that as soon as I package it up and send it some one I know will announce that they're going to USA for hols / business / skiing.

What was the package size stumpy?

Was it the normal frame box size, or was it a FS frame which had been 'folded in half' into a smaller box?

Cheers

PS - how long did it's journey to you take?
