My dad bought a Specialized Allez off eBay.
First ride out on it and the chain snaps.
Took it to the bike shop, guy says it's a bit shagged - been on a turbo.
Needs a new big ring, cassette, chain, jockey wheels and a new rear tyre and rim.
Think the drivetrain is Sora, about 2011-ish.
Anyway, I said I'd check to see how much to get the parts online so he can see if he's getting a good price off the LBS.
I'm guessing look for NOS 2300 stuff maybe? All the Sora stuff now is 10spd...

Sora is 9 speed claris is 8speed now taking over 2300
