My stainless steel seatpost bolt snapped last night when adjusting my saddle height on the commute home.

- Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Its a stainless steel bolt that you can tighten into the frame using an allen key. It measures 6mm in thread diameter, 10mm head diameter and is/was around 20mm long.

try your local bike shop? we're local if you live in South Manchester and have a drawer full of stainless bolts.

I'm sure we have some in the factory, if your near Lichfield.

I got one from Halfords when something similar happened to me. There wasn't much of a selection though.

Find your local fixings & fasteners supplier - it'll probably cost you about 20p in there.

I find local engineering / tool shops very good .they'll find virtually anything and are a sight cheaper that most bike shops .

Thanks for all the input guys. Eventually identified it as an M6 bolt and found cheap sellers on Ebay.
